How to reorder, rotate and delete PDF pages visually

When you can see the pages, fixing a document is much easier than typing numbers. Organize PDF shows every page as a thumbnail grid.

Steps

  1. Open your PDF. Thumbnails of the pages appear.
  2. Rearrange, rotate, duplicate or delete pages directly on the grid.
  3. Save the organized PDF.

Good uses

  • A scanned stack where one sheet went through upside down: rotate just that page.
  • A report where an appendix should come before the references: drag it into place.
  • A form where one page must be repeated: duplicate it instead of rescanning.
  • Removing cover sheets or blank pages by eye.

Tips

  • Make big moves in a few passes. Delete first, then reorder, then rotate, so the grid stays small and easy to read.
  • Combine documents first. If pages come from several files, merge them and then organize the single file.
  • Thumbnails are only for display. Saving rebuilds the PDF from the original pages, so text and quality are unchanged.
  • For precise work such as “every other page” or “pages 20 to 35”, the typed tools (Extract, Remove) are faster.

When it will not work

Password-protected PDFs need unlocking first. Very long documents create many thumbnails, which uses memory; on a phone, work on a smaller extract instead.
