Where each is used
- camelCase for JavaScript variables, PascalCase for classes, snake_case for Python and databases, kebab-case for CSS classes and URLs, CONSTANT_CASE for constants.
- URL slug turns “Café Menu 2026” into
cafe-menu-2026, ready for a web address.
Tips
- Programming cases work line by line, so a list of names stays a list.
- Existing camelCase or PascalCase words are split correctly (
userIDbecomesuser_id). - Title Case here is simple capitalisation of each word; it does not follow style-guide rules about small words.
